Temperaments I work with:
Friendly & Outgoing
Shy / Anxious - Nervous around new people or environments.
Reactive and Fearful - Barks, lunges, growls due to fear or overexcitement.
Aggressive - shows aggression toward people or other dogs.
I have seen dogs get kicked out of boarding facilities for biting people or parents have to put down their dog because they can't handle them anymore, or can't find help and have no other option.
IF YOUR DOG HAS UNPREDICTABLE BEHAVIOR I WILL NOT TAKE THEM. This is a safety precaution.
Requirements
What I ask from parents:
An evaluation is needed for your dog if they are aggressive / reactive.
This will help me with knowing which direction to take when it comes to your dog. I am not a dog trainer and will not train your dog.
Meet and greets are required for any type of dog. This just ensures that you and your animal are comfortable and that we are a good fit for each other.
Please share as much detail as possible about your dog's behavior and triggers. This helps me create a plan that keeps everyone safe and comfortable.
How your dog reacts to strangers, other dogs, or being around people, scared of men, children, or scared of women, noises, storms, if they have been kicked out of a boarding facility, etc.
Signs of stress or triggers that cause reactions.
Any training techniques or commands used to help them when needed, or re-direction.
Muzzle training or tools that help during walks if needed.
